Peace Circle, Stone Circle, Celestial Observatory, Sacred Space, a place to connect with the elements, a place for prayer or quiet reflection.

A Peace Circle is a place where we can focus on the peace within us. When we gather together in peace, the effects of this concentrated thought reach out into the world. World peace starts with finding our inner peace.

A Peace Circle can take any form – temporary or more permanent – from placing a simple pebble on an altar, to a gathering of people, or a sophisticated stone circle or building.

Having places that are dedicated to peace helps us to focus on this quality by bringing it into our consciousness and by the beneficial atmosphere created by people’s concentrated thoughts.

The temple or sacred focal point, in whatever form it has taken, has always been at the centre of healthy communities. Peace is a universal concept and something we all need to be able to be happy. By focusing on peace we draw peace into our lives.

Every community and every home could have a Peace Circle – radiating out peace into the world – connecting individuals, communities and nations to help bring about harmony, well being and peace.

We can create Peace Circles wherever we go. This could be getting together with some friends and sending out thoughts of peace to the world. It could be visualizing light and harmony in your local community or places you visit. It could be marking out a circle in your garden, home or work place.
